Abstract

The air-fuel ratio control problem about gas engines with consideration of cylinder pressure measurement inaccuracy is researched. The affection from the measurement inaccuracy of the cylinder pressure to the estimation accuracy about the residual gas fraction is explained. Using the dynamic model of the gas engines, a stochastic control algorithm is deduced to improve the control accuracy about the air-fuel ratio, and the system of closed-loop is proved to be stochastically stable. Finally, the numerical simulation is used to verify the availability of the proposed stochastic controller under three working conditions.
