Abstract

Electrochemistry-based battery models provide detailed information about internal states of batteries. In this work, we present some commonly implemented aging phenomena, how to implement them, and analyze the conditions under which the phenomena dominate. We conclude that understanding how to model aging is vital for informed control of Li-Ion batteries.
